OVERVIEW
I specialize in representing physician practices and, in particular, anesthesiology practices. As counsel to national medical specialty associations and anesthesiology practices nationwide, I have had extensive experience in business and legal issues relating to medical practice and anesthesiology, including:
Negotiating contracts with hospitals and ASCs, as well as vendors;
Addressing billing compliance requirements;
Providing guidance on regulatory requirements; and
Representing physician groups in the sale of their practices.
I have written or co-authored multiple practice management monographs for the American Society of Anesthesiologists on such topics as (a) hospital contract negotiations; (b) negotiating employment agreements; (c) billing compliance; (d) HIPAA; (e) ASC practice; and (f) managed care contracting.
