We’re excited to announce the March 2025 Conference Planning Meeting! This year, we’re hosting a hybrid meeting at the AMA Office in Washington, D.C., on March 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM ET.
This meeting is your opportunity to dive deep into critical issues impacting medical associations and healthcare policies, including:
- Medicare Cuts & Implications: Explore legal and policy changes affecting Medicare payments, budget neutrality, and site neutrality.
- Maternal Health & Health Equity: Discuss legal frameworks for improving maternal healthcare access and equity programs.
- The Legal Implications of Louisiana vs. Margaret Carpenter, MD: A legal discussion on Louisiana vs. Dr. Margaret Carpenter, focusing on state extradition laws and telemedicine-related legal risks.
- Hot Topics Roundtable: Participate in an open discussion on emerging issues.

Program Description: This meeting focuses on issues that are of high interest to our members who work with national medical specialty societies.We anticipate the program will be eligible for 3.25* continuing education credits.
*CLE approval for continuing education courses varies by state. ASMAC receives CLE approval for educational content through the MCLE Board of Illinois and provides attendees with a certificate and evidence of certification by the MCLE Board of the Supreme Court in Illinois.
Cancellations: Please note that cancellations received prior to 30 days of the conference will be refunded minus a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations received within 30 days of the event will not be refunded.
